My friend Chris just told me about this last night. The state park at the Grand Canyon actually sells books that say the GC was made by the Great Flood (you know, of Noah and his Ark fame?). What? Did Sarah Palin write it?
Just another of Bush & Co's lovely gifts to our country. How many families have gone on vacation and bought their kids a book about one of our greatest national momuments and have them reading and believing this! I went with my parents -- there was no mention of Noah in the 70s (except in Sunday school). I hope the O Administration can systematically start revoking all of these seemingly inconsequential things that are damaging the collective knowledge of our youth.
