The primary contests are over. And. He. Won.
It is truly poetic justice that on August 28th, when Barack will give his acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention in Denver (yes, I'll be there - in Denver, somewhere with a cocktail, an Obama shirt and a big smile) - it will be 45 years to the day that MLK gave his infamous "I Have a Dream" speech.
See, dreams do come true. Sometimes they just take a while.
